How dealer listings work
Gun Sales Online is building Australia's most complete directory of licensed firearms dealers. Most listings start as unclaimed — populated from public information so shooters can find every shop in the country in one place — and become verified once an owner claims and we check the licence.
For shoppers
- Find every dealer. Unclaimed and verified shops both appear in the directory and on the map.
- Filter by state, brand or service. Looking for a Sako stockist in Perth? Looking for a gunsmith in Bendigo? The directory answers both.
- Verified badge. Shops with a checked dealer licence carry a green Verified badge.
For dealers
It's free.
- Find your shop. Search the directory or visit
gunsales.online/dealersand filter by your state. - Claim it. Click Claim this listing on your storefront and submit your dealer licence number.
- We check. A Gun Sales Online editor verifies the licence with the relevant state firearms registry. Usually 2 business days.
- Manage your storefront. Update brands, services, hours, hero photo, description. Post listings against your verified storefront.
What verified dealers get
- Verified badge on listings and your storefront page.
- Hero photo and description.
- Manage brands carried, services offered and opening hours.
- Receive enquiries from buyers through Gun Sales Online.
- Appear on the Find-a-Dealer map at exact location.
Spotted incorrect information?
Unclaimed listings are populated from public sources and may be out of date. If you're a customer or member of the public, tell us what's wrong. If you're the owner, find your shop and click Claim.
